| Infromation | The hot spring facilities of Semi Onsen line the clear Mogami Oguni River. It is said that 12C Military commander Minamoto Yoshitsune found the spring fleeing to Hiraizumi with his wife. Along the way, his wife gave birth to Kamewakamaru, and they found steams rising from between rocks to bathe the baby in. The enshrined Kamewarikoyasu Kannon is said to have protected Kitanokata at the time of giving birth. |
