| Infromation | On the grounds of Isurugi Shrine are several giant cedar trees. Behind the shrine is the 1,000-year old sacred tree, "Oyasugi". Eels are revered at Isurugi Shrine. It is said this is why the waters in nearby fields never dry up, even when the sun is strong. |
