This shrine is said to be linked with Hitachibo Kaison, who once served 12C Military commande Minamoto Yoshitsune and became a hermit. The poet Matsuo Basho also mentions Sennindo in his work "Oku no Hosomichi" Journey to the Deep North . Today many people visit the shrine to pray for matchmaking. |
