| Infromation | This research facility for sericulture was opened in 1934. It closed in 2000 after conducting studies for over half a century, and was later reopened to the public as the Shinjo Ecology Garden. The lush green premises are surrounded by tall trees and holds a "Kitokito Marche" bazaar once a month. Fresh local agricultural products of Shinjo are sold at the "Sanchoku Mayu no Sato" within the site. |
