| Infromation | The Shinjo Furusato History Center displays two of the selected outstanding floats from the Shinjo Festival of floats each year. Other exhibits include traditional winter crafts that are used in daily life, as well as materials and works regarding Shinjo's cultural past. There is also a special exhibit space for Hoseki Okuyama, an honorary citizen of Shinjo and pioneer of Japanese metal works, and the western-style painter Zenjiro Chikaoka. |
